Galen Marek, code-named Starkiller, is a character from the Star Wars multimedia franchise. He first appeared in the 2008 video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
Starkiller was a Force-sensitive human who served as Darth Vader's secret apprentice. He was raised and trained in the dark side from a young age, tasked with hunting down and eliminating surviving Jedi Knights after the Great Jedi Purge.
Although trained as a weapon of the Sith, Starkiller eventually begins to question his allegiance and experiences conflict between his loyalty to Darth Vader and his growing connection to the light side of the Force. His actions play a significant role in the formation of the Rebel Alliance.
